@Riya64, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Camera Driver Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

To resolve the issue of the camera not working due to a driver not being found, follow these steps:

Check Connections:

  • Ensure that your camera is properly connected to your computer. If it's an external camera, reconnect the USB cable or try a different USB port.

Update the Driver:

  • Open Device Manager by pressing Win + X, and then selecting Device Manager.
  • Locate your camera under the Cameras or Imaging devices category. It might be listed with a warning symbol if there's a driver issue.
  • Right-click on the camera device and select Update driver.
  • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software. This will allow Windows to search online for the latest driver software.

Download Driver from Manufacturer’s Website:

  • Visit the HP Support website: HP Support
  • Enter your product details and navigate to the Drivers section.
  • Download the latest camera driver for your device.
  • Install the downloaded driver and restart your computer.

Use the HP Support Assistant:

  • If you have HP Support Assistant installed on your computer, open it and check for updates. The HP Support Assistant can automatically find and install the latest drivers for your device.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Click Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your computer.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
