We can't find your camera
Check to make sure it's connected and installed properly, that it isn't being
blocked by antivirus software, and that your camera drivers are up to date. If
there's a physical switch or button for the camera on your PC, make sure it's
turned on.
If you need it, here's the error code:
0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>

Hi @Aditya22048
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I understand the camera on your HP Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa0555TX (805X2PA) is not being detected, and Windows is showing error 0xA00F4244 . Based on the details provided, let's focus on the troubleshooting to help restore camera functionality.
Press F10 repeatedly during startup to enter the BIOS.
- Navigate to Advanced or Built-in Device Options.
- Confirm that the Integrated Camera is enabled.
- Save changes and restart.
In Windows, open Device Manager.
- Expand Cameras, Imaging Devices, and Universal Serial Bus controllers.
- If the HP camera is listed, right-click and select Uninstall device.
- Restart the notebook and allow Windows to reinstall the hardware automatically.
Run Windows Update and install all available optional driver updates related to camera, chipset, and system devices.
Open the HP Support Assistant and install all recommended BIOS, chipset, and hardware driver updates for the notebook.
Perform an HP Hardware Diagnostics UEFI camera test:
- Turn off the notebook.
- Press Power, then repeatedly tap F2.
- Select Component Tests > Camera and run the test.
- Note any failure ID that appears.
Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
- Ensure Camera access is turned on.
- Ensure apps are allowed to access the camera.
If the camera does not appear anywhere in Device Manager, including under hidden devices, and the HP diagnostics camera test is unavailable or fails, the system may not be detecting the camera hardware.
Please let us know:
- Does the camera appear in Device Manager under Cameras or Imaging Devices?
- Does the camera test in HP Hardware Diagnostics pass or generate a failure ID?
- Has this started after a Windows update, BIOS update, or any recent system change?
This information will help determine whether the issue is driver-related, BIOS-related, or if the camera hardware is not being detected by the system.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
