Hi @ayan181,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Victus gaming laptop is displaying a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) issue when you switch it on, you may want to follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.
Check TPM Settings in BIOS/UEFI:
- Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings. You can usually do this by pressing a specific key (such as Esc, F1, F2, or Del) during the boot process.
- Look for TPM settings in the BIOS/UEFI and ensure that TPM is enabled. If it's already enabled, you might try disabling it, restarting, and then re-enabling it.
Update BIOS/UEFI:
- Check if there is a BIOS/UEFI update available for your laptop on the HP support website. Sometimes, updating the BIOS can resolve compatibility issues and improve system stability.
Check TPM Status in Windows:
- If you can access the operating system, check the TPM status in Windows.
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog, type tpm.msc, and press Enter.
- Check the TPM manufacturer information and status. Make sure it's enabled and functioning properly.
Update TPM Firmware/Driver:
- Visit the HP support website and download the latest TPM firmware or driver for your laptop model. Install the update and restart your laptop.
Clear TPM:
- In the TPM Management Console (tpm.msc), there might be an option to clear TPM. Before doing this, ensure you have a backup of your important data.
- Clearing TPM might resolve issues related to its configuration.
Remember to back up important data before making any changes to your system settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
