HP Pavilion - 14-al110tx

Hello, I recently bought a new ssd and installed it instead of HDD. I wanted to install Windows 10 on a new SSD SATA, but when installing via USB, the installer does not see my SSD. I watched a couple of videos where it says how to solve this problem. And then it turned out that my bios does not have the head of Advanced or AHCI. Please tell me how to install the necessary driver so that I can install the OS on my computer

Hi:

The product specs for your notebook indicate that it already came with a 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD as well as a 1 TB mechanical hard drive.

The operating system goes on the 128 GB M.2 SSD and the 1 TB hard drive is used for storage only.

NVMe M.2 SSD's are not supported in the model series, only SATA.

What type of drive did you install?

Did you remove the 2.5" drive and install a 1 TB SSD, or did you remove the 128 GB M.2 SSD and install a 1 TB NVMe SSD?

If you installed a M.2 NVMe SSD that is the reason why no OS will install on it.

If you are trying to install W10 on a 2.5" SATA drive, try the HP cloud recovery tool on it:

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.

Since you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter your notebook's full product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.
