It is likely one or more USB ports on you laptop are capable of charging the device.
Click here, scroll down, and enter the product ID or serial number of your laptop and locate your manual
The documentation will identify the ports that are capable of charging although I recommend you use the charger that came with the device.
Please provide the Product ID or Model name for better assistance.
