so although my laptop is charging, but when the charging is plugged in , the charging bar does not move while charging . (the charging bar eventually moves but its not constantly mving) Should I be concerned?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the charging bar on the battery is not moving when the charger is plugged in.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

Is the battery getting charged correctly? If yes, then you don’t need to worry about the battery bar on the computer. The computer stops charging the battery when the battery is fully charged and uses the AC power when the charger is connected. This is done to protect the battery from overcharging.

 

In case if the battery is not getting charged correctly then I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check if it helps.
