Envy x360 convertible 13-ay0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. I have a ThinkVision M14t USB-C monitor connected to my Envy x360 and it's great! My question is can I connect a second one? Does my computer support 2 monitors? And what hardware would I need, the Envy only has one USB-C. The 2 USB-3 ports don't drive the monitor I have.

What is your Envy x360 convertible 13-ay0xxx ? Your machine probably has same ports of the following machine

          HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0037nr

which shows it has

  • 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port
  • 65 W AC power adapter

You can use HP USB-C Gen 5 dock to get up to 3 external monitors and also you can use single cable solution.

Regards.
