The question is not computer brand specific.

Most brands of modern computers offer similar hardware.  For example, if you expect to use a direct connection between computer and the mobile device, look for a way to connect the two using a USB cable.

Windows is in control of how the hardware interprets and guides the connection.

Your network might be used if the transfer involves you moving your data to a Cloud Storage and then retrieving the data from that location.

There are differences in Android devices, of course.

Entering your exact message text in (Google) Search provides a wealth of results.

If you were to include your type (brand / model) of Android device in your search, the results might be more attuned to your setup.

For example,

Use your favorite browser and search tool.

Search for:  "copy from my android phone to this pc picture and music files"

Reminder:

If you don't like the results, change your search string to fine-tune the answers.
