Product: HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-ed1000 (169W3AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Ive only had the laptop for several months. I think since I installed 11 the problems started. About a month ago I had the laptop down for a day. When I turned it back on I did a restart and the screen came up wonky. Screen only showed a couple icons. I went to my Chrome browser and accessed some of the files I need to work on and let it go over night. Unfortunately my back up program (Carbonite) backed up the new files.

 

I restored everything from Carbonite, Homescreen had some of the old Icons but incomplete. 

 

When I try to move an app icon, HPSmart for instance, to the taskbar it appears then when I click on it disappears and doesn't open.

 

I guess it is to late to switch back to 10.

 

Any one out there ?
