Hello @aschnas

Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting.

The screen you show is called Preboot Authentication Screen (PBA screen) and appears in order to protect the data of the PC and its operating system from offline and online attacks.

In order to disable the screen - you will have to login with the configured user, login to Windows and start HP Client Security Manager

From the Home screen, click on "Drive Security" and then you will an option to stop the PBA preboot authentication screen.

De-select it.

Hope this helps and answers your query. Cheers

@MLangmayer

The PBA screen is seen on preboot level (before Windows loads) when this protection layer has been activated in the software itself.
