Pavilion 14 notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an issue with this Pavilion 14 notebook.  I would have a document open, try to save in in an existing document folder, but the computer would not be able to find the folder.  When I restart the laptop, the file folder would magically reappear.  I tried  setting the file folders to their default setting but it didn't help resolve the issue.  Any ideas?

In the event anyone else experiences the issue I did some digging and found out there was a bios update in early September; never got notified by HP (update didn't find it) but when I did the advanced troubleshooter it indicated I should check for a bios update.  Once I did the bios update the disk folders reappeared.  Hopefully they won't disappear again.
