The product specifications indicate that it comes with a 1-month trial of MS Office 365 for new customers.

It would have the latest version of Office 365 which would be Office 2021, but you have to pay for it every month based on the edition you want.

If you were to get a lifetime version of MS Office Professional 2021, that would have added about $350 quid to the cost of your notebook.

 

HP would never offer a free version of Microsoft Office.
