When I downloaded a pdf file from an email, I made notes on it, saved the changes, and it created a temporary file.  When I went to attach the new changed file, the looked at the preview, my changes were not attached.

I did go back into the file itself, and the changes are there, but the file I attached to the email, would , only attached the orginial download with no changes.

There are two issues here, neither of which we can address.

First, there is the issue of whether or not your email provider allows PDF attachments.  We have no way to determine that, so you would have to contact your provider to find out.  They all impose limits of one kind or another.

Second, there is the issue of how the email application you are using works.  HP does not provide any such applications, so you would have to check with the support forum for the application you are using.

My email provider, Hotmail, allows attachments from pdf files, , and I have had no problems writing notes on downloaded pdf files or  esigning, saving and attaching to an email with my provider.

With this new laptop, the pdf file accepted the changes made after saving, but it added a temporary file along with it (which I can't access).  I attached both files and went to preview before sending, and my changes to the spread sheet will not download the changes.

I understand -- but NONE of those are HP products, so you would have to get support from the product vendors -- of the email application and the PDF application, as there is clearly some conflict between those -- something we here can not address.
