hello I accidentally installed a extension in edge browser {extension name : "set password for your browser(chrome lock)"} and I didn't set any password and closed the browser and next time when I try to open the browser it asking me to enter a password... and I cant use the browser I tried reinstalling the browser but still no change...thankyou!!!

That might be one of the more unusual things I've heard done to a browser.

 

Essentially, some browsers do dig into your account and save data there.

Consider

 

Uninstall the browser

Look in your AppData > Local > Microsoft

If you find the Edge folder, consider removing it.

 

Be Aware

Note the word "consider".

Assuming the folder is there, it would likely contain data related to your personal settings used in Edge.

Be aware that removing the folder would remove any data saved in that location.

Not a computer issue - this is Microsoft Edge browser problem.

Contact / check with Microsoft for help with their browser.

 

What else?

Use a different Browser until you figure out how to fix the issue with Edge.
