Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I click on the file explorer tab it takes FOREVER to search my drive for my files.. "Working on it"

it shows "THIS PC" and the green bar is going across the top.

If by some chance the folders on that drive show up. The files inside the folders have no thumbnails.

The only way I can see my files (photos, PDF) is if I open Microsoft Publisher and click "Insert Photo" then I can go to the drives (One Drive, Dropbox and THIS PC)  and see the files.

How do I fix the indexing system.? I ran the HP Assistant and there are "No Issues Found" I ran the sc /scannow from Windows Power shell (admin) and it didn't find anything either.

I suspect the search index is corrupted and needs to be rebuilt:  https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/58569-rebuild-search-index-windows-10-a.html

Good Luck

I Will try using the .BAT file

Neither of the .BAT files seemed to work the Rebuild search was on a loop. and the Reset and Rebuild says it couldn't find something ////Windows.edb  (it closed before I could screen shot it)
