HP Recommended

Hi all,  I just found a fix for my problem of screen auto rotation not working in tablet mode in windows 11 on my HP elitebook x360 1030 g3 and I thought I'd share it one more time to help others. I think the problem is the driver for the sensors (gyrometer or accelerometer) doesn't work in windows 11 and HP auto update drivers doesn't fix the problem because the new driver for windows 11 doesn't work. But the sensor driver for windows 10 does work!

You can find it here https://support.hp.com/rs-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-x360-1030-g3-notebook-pc/19753388

in Driver-Chipset (8) > Intel Sensor Hub Components Driver

or look for drivers for your device for windows 10 operating system, select search 'all drivers' not auto detect > Driver-Chipset (8) >Intel Sensor Hub Components Driver

I used HP's auto install options for that driver and now my screen rotates in tablet mode 🙂

Hope that helps
