Product: Compaq Presario C700 Notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista
I have an old Compaq Presario C700 Notebook with Vista 32-bit and my FN key is constantly enagged (not physically). There is no option as the help link in other posts states to disable this in the BIOS. I need help ASAP please!

Hi @SeanJM,
Thank you for posting at HP Forums!
I have read your post and wanted to help. I understand that the Fn key is constantly engaged but not physically. Please try the following steps:
Go to Device Manager.
Double-click Keyboards, right-click the keyboard name, and then click the Uninstall button to remove the device from Windows.
Restart the computer.
The keyboard should now work correctly.
If not, please let me know.
Click on the "Thumb Up" icon for "thank you". Click on "Accepted as Solution", if your problem has been resolved.
Regards,
SDJL
