hp zbook studio x360 g5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need help please, I have problems with my new laptop is a hp zbook studio x360 g5 the problem I have is that the fingerprint reader does not work and the facial recognition of Camara do not work.

I looked for several guides that indicated that I should activate from the BIOS but I can't find it. What could I do please?

I also searched the Device Manager and I didn't find any biometric devices

Please use the Fn+Esc key to determine the BIOS version that is installed and post it here in your thread.

The following link is for the most recent BIOS version(01.08.00 Rev.A) from the driver support web document for your ZBook .

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp98501-99000/sp98704.exe

Your zBook uses a Synaptics fingerprint reader.  I suggest trying an installation of the current driver. See the link below this line.

Using the HP Support Assistant may also help to find even more current drivers for your zBook.

Hi Erico, thanks for answering, tell you that I did what you asked but there are no changes.

Tell you that I updated the BIOS version, before it was with version 01.07.00 now it looked like this:

versión equipo después.JPG

I looked again at the device manager and it shows me like this:

device manager.JPG

when I log in to login options I see the following:

control de cuentas.JPG

as you can see :'( still not recognizing the fingerprint sensor.

What can I do, please?

Thanks again for your time
