HP Pavilion All-in-One PC 27-d0000a (7TC47AV)

When I play any video on my PC the video stops after about 20 seconds if my R Phonak bluetooth hearing aids are connected.

as the sound source if I switch to internal speakers every thing plays OK

My wifes HP pavilion works OK with my hearing aids but it has R Phonak hearing aid Avrcp Transport listed in the bluetooth device manager which is not in my bluetooth device manager.  Mine just has R phonak hearing aid her PC has both listed.

Grasping at straws here .

Thanks

Hi @robertdelta69

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing a specific issue with your Phonak Bluetooth hearing aids when connected to your HP Pavilion All-in-One PC. Since you mentioned that the sound works fine with internal speakers and that your wife's HP Pavilion has a different Bluetooth listing for the hearing aids, here are some steps to help troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

1. Remove and Re-Pair Hearing Aids

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  • Remove your hearing aids from the list of paired devices.
  • Turn off the hearing aids and then turn them back on.
  • Re-pair the hearing aids with your PC by adding them back in.

2. Update Bluetooth Drivers

  • Ensure that your Bluetooth drivers are up to date:
    • Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
    • Expand the Bluetooth section, right-click on your Bluetooth device, and select Update driver.
    • Choose Search automatically for drivers.

3. Check for Windows Updates

  • Make sure your Windows 11 is fully updated:
    • Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for any available updates.

4. Check Audio Settings

  • Right-click on the sound icon in the taskbar and select Sounds.
  • Go to the Playback tab and see if your hearing aids are listed there.
  • If they are, set them as the default device.

5. Configure Bluetooth Settings

  • Check if there are any specific Bluetooth settings for your hearing aids:
    • Open the Bluetooth & other devices settings.
    • Look for any additional options related to your hearing aids, such as AVRCP settings or profiles.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
