Hi @columbus65,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Performing a battery calibration on your HP Pavilion x360 - 14m-dh0001dx running Windows 11 helps ensure accurate battery readings and can improve performance.

HP Battery Calibration Steps

1. Update BIOS and HP Support Assistant

  • Go to Official HP® Support.
  • Enter your laptop model and install the latest BIOS and HP Support Assistant.
  • Restart your laptop.

2. Disable Sleep and Hibernate

  • Open Control Panel > Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings.
  • Set Sleep and Hibernate to Never (temporarily for calibration).

3. Fully Charge the Battery

  • Plug in your charger and charge to 100%.
  • Leave it plugged in for 2 more hours after reaching full charge.

4. Discharge the Battery

  • Unplug the charger.
  • Use the laptop normally until it shuts down due to low battery.
  • Do not force shutdown; let it drain completely.

5. Recharge Without Interruption

  • Plug the charger back in and charge to 100% again without turning the laptop on.

Once fully charged, you can restore your normal power settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
