There are many ways, the classic way is to use USB cable. When plug your phone to your computer for the very first time, you have to permit your computer to access your phone.

You can use your phone is an external drive. My phone is a Samsung phone but for iphone it is the same

You could use OneDrive to sync them to your computer from your phone. So essentially, if you have the OneDrive app on both your phone and computer, whenever you add or take new photos, move them from one folder to another, etc., on your phone, your pc will reflect those actions/changes as well and vice versa. I've just recently been familiarizing myself with similar tasks and benefits of phone to PC relationship/connectivity but hopefully this helps or is even what you are looking for lol.
