Hi @'
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
To change the language of the HP Support Assistant on your HP laptop from Arabic to English, follow these steps:
Open HP Support Assistant:
- Click on the Start menu and search for HP Support Assistant, or you can find it in your list of installed applications.
Change the Language in HP Support Assistant:
- In the HP Support Assistant window, look for a settings icon or menu. This might look like a gear or a "three-dot" menu (☰) located in the upper-right corner of the interface.
- Since the interface is in Arabic, the settings icon may be in the top-right corner or on the left side of the window. You’ll need to locate the one that opens settings or preferences.
Switch Language:
- In the settings or preferences menu, search for language options. If you're having trouble navigating, look for a section labeled something like "Language" or "اللغة" (this is the Arabic term for "Language").
- Change the language to English (الإنجليزية) from the list of available languages. In some cases, you may need to restart HP Support Assistant for the language change to take effect.
Alternative Method - Reinstall HP Support Assistant:
- If you can't find the language settings in the app, you can try reinstalling HP Support Assistant. Sometimes, during installation, the software will prompt you to select a language. Uninstall the current version first (via the Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program), then reinstall it from the official HP website.
- During reinstallation, make sure to select English as your preferred language.
Additional Tips:
- If you're still seeing Arabic despite following the above steps, make sure your system language is set to English in Windows Settings. Here's how:
- Go to Windows Settings (press Windows + I).
- Time & Language > Language.
- Set English (United States) or English (United Kingdom) as your default language.
- Restart your laptop and check the HP Support Assistant again.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
-Regards
