well i got inbuilt .Build id 17ww but my recovery media is given by hp is 18ww and even cloud media is too 18ww.. thats why i want to edit my build id so that i can recover my laptop. i already used and reached the HP CONFIDENTIAL page from there i dont know how to change my build id plz help

HP no longer distributes their DMI tool.

 

If you want this done now, you would have to contact an HP Repair or Service Center.
