the command cannot be performed because the dialog box is open,,,,,

this message comes again and again whenever i try to open a msword2007 file in windows10...

help me to overcome this....

That is some "old, dusty" Word software.

 

Regardless, this error has been around since at least 2008 - and it has naught to do with your "HP" brand computer.  It is more a "Windows" and "Office" issue that can happen on a variety of computers and installation.

 

 I did find recent mention of the problem in the Microsoft forum thread:

Why am I receiving this pop up box on Office Word 2007? Command cannot be performed because a dialog...

Excerpt:

Start Word and then use File>Open and browse to and select the document that you want to open.

 

Suggestion: 

If Doug's answer helps you, be sure to click his "Did this solve your problem" Yes button on the Microsoft thread.

 

The thread is long, convoluted, and filled with comments and possible solutions.  It is at least worth your time to take a look at what customers have to say about the issue.
