Hi @Hesham22,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To deactivate the HP System Event Utility Host (HPSEU) and stop the On-Screen Display (OSD) in Windows 11, follow these steps.

Disable HP System Event Utility via Task Manager

Open Task Manager:

  • Right-click the Start button and select Task Manager.
  • Alternatively, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager directly.

Go to Startup tab:

  • In Task Manager, click the Startup tab at the top.

Locate HP System Event Utility:

  • Look for the HP System Event Utility in the list of startup programs.

Disable the utility:

  • Right-click on HP System Event Utility, and select Disable.
  • This prevents it from running when you start your computer.

Stop HP System Event Utility Service

Open Services:

  • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

Find HP System Event Utility Service:

  • In the Services window, scroll down and look for HP System Event Utility Service.

Stop and Disable the Service:

  • Right-click on HP System Event Utility Service and choose Stop.
  • Then, right-click again, choose Properties, and set Startup type to Disabled.

Uninstall HP System Event Utility (If Not Needed)

Open Settings:

  • Press Win + I to open Settings.

Go to Apps:

  • Click Apps in the left sidebar, then select Installed Apps.

Find and Uninstall HP System Event Utility:

  • Scroll through the list and locate HP System Event Utility.
  • Click the three dots beside it, then select Uninstall.

After completing any of these methods, restart your laptop to confirm that the HP System Event Utility Host (OSD) is deactivated. You can always re-enable the utility or service later if needed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
