Been trying for days looking for instructions on how to enable both mouse and touch pad to switch from one to the other and I'm going insane!! PLEASE do not send info on how to enable one OR the other! I want to have the option to use both. Why is it SO HARD to find this information??

I looked for information on the PC model you posted, but that shows as invalid. So, the model code is no good.
I have two different laptops, not both HPs, and in both cases, they have a touchpad and an external mouse -- and in both cases, both work without issue.
So, if you boot the laptop without the mouse and the touchpad works, does it then stop working when you connect an external mouse?
