Hi,
One Last Question.
My Internal Mechanical HDD which was removed from internal bay is connected to a SATA-USB Adapter.
I am able to access all files from the drive, obviously it is a NTFS drive, so no issues there.
But how do I boot from this external mechanical hdd? I have changed in bios to boot from external hdd and I even select that option by going into OS Manager screen[by combination of function keys].
But windows is not booting from that drive and it falls back to newly installed internal ssd.
How can I boot into external mechanical HDD?
thanks,
harish p

I do not believe you can boot from an external hard drive with the windows boot structure on it.
You probably have to format the drive using a tool like Rufus and have it act like one giant USB flash drive, which I assume is not what you want to do.

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver - sp74724
Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver (Windows 10 v1803) - sp87981
Intel Platform ME Firmware Update - sp96325
Intel Sideband Fabric Device Driver - sp72396

Hi:
As I wrote earlier, you don't need to install any drivers if there aren't any devices shown in the device manager under an Other devices category that have little ! marks next to them and in order for me to provide the links to the drivers you need for those devices, I would (as I wrote the other day), need you to provide both the device description given in the device manager and the hardware ID's for any devices that need drivers.

Hi,
I don't have any exclamation mark in any of the device manager list of devices. I opened every single item. I think it is a small yellow colour exclamation mark. I do not see that at all.
I guess I am all set. Thanks very much for your kind help and patience with me.
Thanks again.

You're very welcome.
Sounds like you are good to go.
Now you can install the optional software listed on your PC's support page as needed, under the multimedia and solutions section.
There may be something you want.
But as far as drivers are concerned, you are all set.
Enjoy your speedier notebook.
