I've plugged a usb drive into the usb port.  How do I find the drive so I can transfer the files?

Hi:

W10 should have opened a dialog for you to choose what you want to do after it detected the USB flash drive.

However, you can always find it by clicking on 'This PC' on the windows desktop and the flash drive should be showing up as a storage device with a drive letter.

C: will be the hard drive, 😧 will be the recovery partition (if applicabe), E: will be the DVD drive (if applicable), so the usb flash drive could be F: or higher.  And the flash drive should have some kind of description label besides the drive letter.

Just click on the flash drive, and it should open a blank window to which you can copy any files you want to.
