Most likely, when you did that work, a connector got dislodged or broken -- but we here do not do hardware repair nor do we have any tutorials or instructions -- as that repair is supposed to be done in HP facilities, not by the consumer.
You will have to take this to a laptop repair facility and have them check it out to see if they can find the source of the problem.
