Hi. I have an office laptop on the work, where somebody set up password. I need to install virtual machine on vmware Workstation, but guest OS won`t start, saying something like: "turn on vtd-option in bios". tried to do so, but bios is locked. I tried also to remove on a few hours batery, with no luck. Could you help me, please?

Hi,
Unfortunately, business machines such as Probooks or Elitebooks have more stringent security than consumer models - they don't produce 'halt codes', the password cannot be derived from the Serial No. and the code is stored in non-volatile memory so removing the RTC battery will not reset the password in this case.
If you Contact HP Business support, they should be able to help.
