@jactee
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • What is the exact issue with the HP Envy computer?
  • Are you able to use a computer after login screen?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

I can login just fine. I want to know how to avoid the sign in after sleep.

Let's try this workaround: (community suggested)

  • In Windows 10, click on the Start button and then select Settings from the Start Menu.
  • When the Settings window opens, click on Accounts.
  • Next, go to the Sign-in options area. Click on the drop-down box under the “Require sign-in” section.
  • You'll see two options – “Never” and “When PC wakes up from sleep“.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

The “When PC wakes up from sleep“ button is and has been grayed out. There is a note io  look in the

power section. I can not find anything.

This is a very tricky one to get it done, I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to Remote into your computer and sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
