Hp Probook 4740S
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey ,

i have a hp probook 4740s ( prodcut id : C5C84EA#UUG)

I clean installd it with windows 10 64 bit 1803.

But i still have problems with the mobile data sensor. the driver isn't instald.

I googeld it, and try sevral drivers. but it isnt fixd.

this is the hardware id : ACPI\VEN_HPQ&DEV_6000

Tryd al the drivers on the official support page. Even tryd snappy driver installer.

Tryd it withe the driver option in the hp support assistent. i even tryd the windows option to search the driver online ( almost never works :')   )

Bios was updated withe the last version.

Somone got an idea left?

Hi:

Some folks got it to work by installing this driver and restarting the PC...

in my case , it doenst work 😕

I had to force installation of the driver by finding the device in the device manager application and browsing for the driver that was extracted into C:\swsetup\SP85435\base. The driver setup application was ineffective by itself.

Just registered to say that the previous entry works well. I had previously disabled the sensor on 2 4540s laptops but the fix to brute force SP85435 was successful. Just ignore W10 saying it can't confirm this driver works with the device, reboot and Voila,  working. So well done that man!!

I've had the exact same problem. I've finaly found a solution to my problem on this page :

Depending on your hardware version, try downloading SP61037 or SP71811.

SP61037 did work for me on my Pavilion DV8.

Cheers,

Regis.
