Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

hello

i am using hp pavilion dv6 laptop, it came with original windows 7 OS.

 

Recently my hardisk has cracked and replaced wit h new one. 

i have freshly intalled the windows 7 OS and got activated with the product key sticked on the back cover of the laptop. Now the laptop is working super. 

 

But the webcam of the laptop is not working. may be It needs the driver. 

 

since i freshly installed the os I cannot recover it from recovery manager.

 

it is also not listed in the drivers and software available for the model on hp support.

 

Kindly give support for getting the HP TRUEVISION HD DRIVER for smooth working of my device.

tried, but it does not work

 

it says no webcam detected, plug in a webcam or if it is integrated cam then make sure it is turned on

 

but how to turn on

 

the settings icon of the youcam software are not turned on
