Hi @sevroprada

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The "HP Support Solutions Framework error code -3" typically indicates a problem with the framework application or its interaction with your system.

Let’s try the following steps to resolve the issue:

1. Repair or Reinstall the HP Support Solutions Framework

Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.

Locate HP Support Solutions Framework in the list.

Right-click on it and select Repair (if available). Follow the on-screen instructions.

If repairing doesn’t work, uninstall the framework:

Download the latest version of the HP Support Solutions Framework from the HP Support website. Official HP® Drivers and Software Download | HP® Support

Install it fresh, and restart your system.

2. Check Windows Updates

Ensure your system is up to date, as missing updates can cause compatibility issues:

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

Click Check for updates, and install any pending updates.

Restart your laptop after completing the updates.

3. Update .NET Framework

The HP Support Solutions Framework relies on Microsoft’s .NET Framework, so ensure it’s updated:

Open the Microsoft .NET Framework Download Page. https://dotnet.microsoft.com/

Download and install the latest version for your system.

Restart your laptop after installation.

4. Run the HP Support Assistant

If you haven’t already, download and install the HP Support Assistant, which can assist with troubleshooting and fixing HP software issues.

Open the HP Support Assistant and let it scan for problems. It may identify and resolve the framework issue.

5. Perform a Clean Boot

A clean boot helps identify if a third-party service or app is interfering with the HP framework:

Press Win + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.

Under the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services and click Disable all.

Go to the Startup tab and open Task Manager. Disable all startup programs.

Restart your laptop and check if the error persists. If the error is gone, re-enable services one at a time to pinpoint the culprit.

6. Clear Temporary Files

Corrupted temporary files can sometimes cause issues:

Press Win + R, type temp, and press Enter.

Delete all files in the folder (skip ones in use).

Repeat with Win + R and %temp% to clear more temporary files.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
