i cannot create a compressed file . It says this file may be in use

Hello,

 

I recently tried to create a compressed zipped folder but it shows me that this file is in use. I have the full control from temp and still I cannot create a zipped compress folder.


Compressed (zipped) Folders Error

windows cannot create The Compressed (zipped) Folder.

The file may be in use.

please help me regarding this issue.

Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...

I just tried this same action using the details in the linked post and it worked fine:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/zip-and-unzip-files-8d28fa72-f2f9-712f-67df-f80cf89fd4e5

 

I did notice that the source folder can not be empty or this will fail.
