It's safe or I would not have posted the link.
Sometimes you have to close out of ads that may pop up but the actual driver site and downloads are safe.
Its too much trouble to cross reference the driver files on that site and find the HP drivers on the HP FTP site.
If you only needed one or two, that would be different.

HP has retired support for the model series since it is more than 10 years old.
You can install the W7 drivers for your notebook from this reputable 3rd party website.

You're very welcome.
All the drivers for retired PCs still reside on the FTP website but you can directly access the FTP directory anymore and you need to know what the Softpaq file numbers are in order to manually create a link to the HP driver on the FTP site.

I don't know how that program works and in order to find the driver on the FTP site you need to know the following basic information on how it works:
For example:
To get the drivers from HP you have to know where in the numerical range the softpaq falls in.
The softpaqs are arranged from 001-500 and 501-000 for each range.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp92501-93000/sp92961.exe
As you can see sp92961 falls between sp92501 and 93000.
You would have to do that for every file.
If you want to go through all of that trouble, you can get the file number you need from the site I posted.
When you click on the download option it will then show the file number.
What I do is to use Notepad, copy an entire link and then change the numbers.
