Hi @bhagirath1,
Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Check Your Email:
- If you made your purchase online, there's a good chance that HP or the retailer sent you an order confirmation email with the invoice attached.
- Search your inbox for terms like "HP order", "invoice", "receipt", or "purchase confirmation". Also, check your spam folder just in case.
Visit the HP Website:
- If you bought directly from HP’s online store, you might be able to log into your account and check your order history.
- Go to HP's official website, log into your account, and navigate to Order History. This section will usually contain a copy of your past purchases and invoices.
Check Retailer’s Website (if purchased from a store):
- If you bought your laptop from a retailer (like Best Buy, Walmart, or a local shop), visit their website and log into your account (if applicable). You should be able to find a history of your purchases and the corresponding receipt.
Physical Store:
- If you purchased the laptop from an HP authorized retailer and paid in-store, you may be able to visit that retailer’s customer service department. They can search their records for your purchase if you have the payment method or a loyalty card associated with the transaction.
Check Payment Method Records:
- If you're unable to retrieve the original receipt, check your payment method (credit card, bank statement, etc.) for a record of the purchase. Often, this can help prove the transaction date, amount, and vendor.
I hope these steps help resolve the issue
