i need help finding the right bluetooth drivers for my hp pavilion g6 2293nr series that was shipped with windows 8

Type MRT in the windows search bar both before and after downloading.

I am sorry that HP no longer maintains old drivers but everyone runs out of space and patience eventually.

The Atheros AR9485 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi adapter your notebook comes with is not a combination Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter.

 

Your notebook does not have built in Bluetooth.

 

If you want Bluetooth, you can purchase a USB Bluetooth adapter, or replace/upgrade the Atheros card with this dual band AC card with Bluetooth.

 

Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo    HP part # 724935-001

 

You can find the above model Wi-Fi card on eBay.  Search by the HP part number.

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.
