hello! i recentl changed the mother-board of a Zbook 14 g2 now i have a problem of committing the system. every time reboot the system i get this error (00A). i have tried everything i cud and now am so freaking frustrated coz i cant seem to find the freaking asset trucking number or sku number and ct number or asset tag 2.

 

please help me

This is a branding issue. Usually occurs when the system board is being replaced.There is a specific tool which is used to commit and lock the system board once replaced.

 

  • Changing and committing information at this level requires the system to be unlocked for reprogramming with a digitally signed System Management Command (SMC) file.  
  • This is unique to each system UUID, and is generated at the time of need by HP Service
  •  Without that file, the information can't be reprogrammed and not publicly available.

 Request you to contact HP support in your country and arrange for Service ,depending on your unit warranty and service regulations , this will be resolved by rebranding the machine.

i tried everything and it does no seem to work. and yes the lapto is still under warranty

is there any other way of resolving this issue
