You’re free to sell your laptop to whomever you’d like, friends, family, online marketplaces, or local resellers. Please note that HP does not purchase or buy back laptops directly.

 

Before selling, we recommend that you:

Back up all your important files.

Perform a full factory reset to erase personal data.

Remove any external devices or accessories you want to keep.

This way, your laptop will be ready for the new owner.
