got a new 5d00gb ssd.  installed windows 10.  Like to move all the preinstalled HP software that came with the laptop to the ssd and wipe the original 1tb hdd.  Anyone know how to do that?  I assume recover will reinstall on the original hdd and not the ssd.

Quick, safe and easy: clone existing HDD contents to new SSD. I've been doing that over 10 years now, at least 4 times a year. You can use the following way

You need to understand that the solution that @banhien mentioned involves cloning the contents of the HDD.

You asked about MOVING the HP stuff -- with the implication that later, you want to move it back.  You can not do that with applications.  You can certainly CLONE them to another drive, but can not then later Restore the HP apps, either individually or as a group.
