The HP LaserJet MFP M234dw Printer is 100% operational from my Windows 11 Laptop via Wi-Fi.

The HP LaserJet MFP M234dw Printer is 100% operational from my Google Pixel 3A either with HP Smart or HP Print Service Plugin via Wi-Fi.

My wife's ChromeBook recognizes the printer and works about 50% of the time even when the Printer is Active via Wi-Fi..  Chrome OS reports the document has printed though there is no activity at the printer.

We have installed HP Print Service Plugin on my wife's Google Pixel 6A and it is 100% operational, but my wife is not happy having to print to pdf, then go to her phone to print to the printer.

We have tried turning the Printer Off, waiting, and then turning it back on again with the same result.  When it refuses to print, it won't budge.  Next day, she'll try printing something else and everything is perfect.

Any suggestions, other than divorce or tossing the printer would be appreciated.

[Note:  I just reviewed the instructions for "Add the printer to the Chromebook" from https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2059279-1992970-16 to see if I missed something.  The first three bullets pertain to adding the printer via Wi-Fi.  However, if in step 1, if the Printer is initially setup via Wi-Fi with the HP Smart app on the same network as the Chromebook, then "step 2" has been completed by "step 1".]

I run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.  It says, "Some issues were found and fixed with your product",  I run it again and get the same message.  I select "Skip" as I don't need to print a test page from the Windows PC as that always works.  So, I select HP Support Forum and am told, "This computer is not connected to the internet.  An active internet connection is required to complete this operation".  Well, since I don't currently have an internet connection on the PC, I could not access this page and can't submit this post either.  Something is not right.
