HP 2000 notebook pc
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

So i have a iphone x and a HP 2000 Notebook PC 8.1

My laptop with not aknowledge that my iphone x is plugged in to the computer for downloading my pictures from my iphone. I think i need a certain software. Can someone shed some light on this problem i have. Thanks

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Have you checked the other USB device on this computer?
  • Is this first time your trying to connect iPhone to this computer?
  • Have you installed Apple Software iTunes on this computer? If no you can install iTunes software from here

While you respond to that, let's try these steps: 

  1. Launch iTunes from your Start menu, taskbar, or desktop. (once you've installed iTunes from the above link
  2. Click File.
  3. Click Add Folder to Library.

  4. Click a file or folder you'd like to import into iTunes.
  5. Click Select Folder.

  6. This process can be repeated until all of your files are in iTunes. Click here for the YouTube video on(How to export media from iTunes on Windows)
