Hello,
I purchase this new Laptop today and since it was running an older Windows 10 version, I decided to update the BIOS and Erase and do a clean install with the latest Windows 10 version available on Microsoft Website.
Everything went well, with the exception of the "Synaptics Precision Touchpad", the driver(s) available on the support page cannot be installed due to the Windows version that I'm currently running.
I have already tried our friend google, I was able to get some other drivers but the results are the same... no joy.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
The touchpad works, but the gestures, etc... doesn't.
Driver available on the HP Support Page : Synaptics Precision Touchpad Filter Driver (Windows 10 v1809/v1903)
Thank you in Advance

@cra2sh Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that the touchpad is not working.
I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
- Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
- Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
- Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
- Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
- Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

@Praveen196 thank you for your help, however the issue persists, everything is updated.
Windows Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.329)
I have installed the HP Support that you have recommended (again), however it does not detect any new drivers.
Any more ideas?

I understand your concerns.
In that case, I would suggest you perform the system reset.
Have a nice day!!

Hi, that is not an option, I did a clean Windows 10 installation from a USB that I have created using https://www.microsoft.com/pt-pt/software-download/windows10
The problem here is with HP Drivers, everything else works just fine.
Thank you.
