my daughter has changed the password on her hp mini and now she's locked out of it can anyone help s/n (removed content) or am I up for a newbie

What kind of password is it?  Windows or BIOS?

Windows 7. i can put windows 7 disc in and reload but really would prefer not to if can get away with it she no wanna lose her "stuff" but if she has to she has to lol

I made a video on how to do it. Do you have a USB flash drive? The video I have does not cover how to put the software on the flash drive so I will have to tell you how to do it.
