Hi @HimakarReddy,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY x360 laptop's camera and touchscreen are not working, here are the most effective steps to troubleshoot and resolve both issues:

 Fixing the Camera Not Working

Step-by-Step:

  1. Check Privacy Settings
    • Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
    • Ensure Camera access is turned on for both the system and apps.

  2. Device Manager Check
    • Press Win + X > Device Manager.
    • Expand Cameras.
    • If you see HP TrueVision Camera, right-click > Update driver.
    • If not visible, click View > Show hidden devices.

  3. Reinstall or Roll Back Driver
    • Right-click the camera > Properties > Driver tab.
    • Try Roll Back Driver if available.
    • Or choose Uninstall Device, then restart your PC.

Fixing the Touchscreen Not Working:

Step-by-Step:

  1. Check Device Manager
    • Open Device Manager.
    • Expand Human Interface Devices.
    • Look for an HID-compliant touch screen.
    • If missing, click Action > Scan for hardware changes.

  2. Install Generic Touchscreen Driver
    • In Device Manager:
      • Click Action > Add legacy hardware.
      • Choose Install manually > Human Interface Devices > HID-compliant touch screen.
      • Install and restart.

  3. Run UEFI Hardware Diagnostics
    • Restart your laptop and press Esc, then F2.
    • Run the Touchscreen test to confirm hardware is functional

  4. Restore BIOS Defaults
    • Restart and press F10 to enter BIOS.
    • Go to Advanced > Built-in Device Options.
    • Ensure Touchscreen is enabled.
    • Select Restore Defaults, save, and exit.

  5. Install Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Driver
    • Go to HP Driver Downloads: Official HP® Support.
    • Enter your model (e.g., HP ENVY x360 13-bf0000).
    • Choose Windows 11 (22H2) and install the Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Driver

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
