laptop slow to navigate

The specifications for 15-bw011dx state you have a 500GB hard drive and 4GB memory. Is that correct?

You can speed your laptop either with upgrading the internal hard drive to an SSD model and/or adding more memory. Compatible memory and SSD can be bought from Corsair, for example.

The CPU/GPU cannot be replaced, so games will not really get any faster unless you were already running out of memory.

If you are using Windows 10, keep in mind that it will be unsupported (=no more updates and security fixes) a year from now, so the money spent on speeding your - somewhat old and slow - laptop could be used towards a new laptop.

Thanks for the advice. I have reinstalled Windows 10 which seems to have speed things up some. So I guess I'll just wait to get a newer laptop with Windows 11.
