i purchased mcafee thru HP smart assistant. where did it go? i didnt get a download and the mcafee that came with notebook still says its a trial subscription

If you purchased a McAfee subscription through the HP Support Assistant and did not receive a download, or if your McAfee software still displays as a trial version, follow these steps:
Check Your Email:
- Look for a confirmation email from HP or McAfee. This email typically contains the activation code and instructions on how to download and activate the full version of McAfee.
HP Support Assistant:
- Open the HP Support Assistant on your notebook.
- Navigate to the "My devices" tab.
- Select your device and look for software or subscription updates that might include your McAfee purchase.
HP Support Portal:
- Visit HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads.
- Enter your notebook’s product number to find relevant updates and downloads, including any security software.
McAfee Account:
- Go to the McAfee website and log into your McAfee account.
- Check your subscriptions to see if your purchase has been recorded.
- If your purchase is listed, you may be able to download and activate the full version directly from your McAfee account.
