Greetings-

I went to download drivers for my laptop and Windows 25H2 is not listed. The last one they have is 24H2. Is there any problem with me updating the drivers?

Hi @MortezaGholi

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for checking the driver download page and sharing your observation. I appreciate the effort you’ve already put in—it’s a great step toward keeping your system updated.

Here’s some clarity and guidance:

Why Windows 25H2 Is Not Listed

Driver pages often show the latest officially validated versions. If 24H2 is the latest listed, it means those drivers are tested for that version. However, most drivers are forward-compatible, so installing them on 25H2 generally works without issues.

Steps to Safely Update Drivers

Download Drivers from HP Support

  • Go to your product page and download the latest drivers available (even if listed for 24H2).
  • Here’s the link to start: HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads

Install Drivers

  • Run the downloaded installer and follow on-screen instructions.
  • Restart your PC after each installation for best results.

Use Windows Update for Additional Drivers

  • Press Windows + IUpdate & SecurityWindows Update → Click Check for updates.
  • Install any optional driver updates shown.

Memory Upgrade Guidance

  • Check your laptop’s specifications for maximum supported RAM.
  • Use HP’s documentation for your model to confirm compatible memory modules.
  • Here’s a helpful resource: HP PCs - Upgrading Memory (RAM)
