HP ENVY - 13-aq1066tu
Microsoft Windows 11

Lenovo wireless mouse has suddenly started automatically scrolling to the bottom of page. Also when opening a browser it automatically fills the search line with non stop characters. Similarly if I open a word document. The mouse was previously working fine. The Mouse still works properly in other laptops to seems to be a problem which has suddenly arisen with my HP Envy 13aq.  I have checked for viruses and rebooted the laptop, but problem remains.

Any ideas on how I can fix? Thanks

Updating the BIOS is recommended as standard maintenance of the computer. It can also help resolve the following issues:

  • An available BIOS update resolves a specific issue or improves computer performance.
  • The current BIOS does not support a hardware component or a Windows upgrade.
  • HP Support recommends installing a specific BIOS update.
